The New Big Shot 3D Ball Die

A couple of my friends relocated to America several years ago, met and fell in love. Last July 3rd they took their US Citizens test. On July 4th they celebrated their marriage in their new homeland. I had bought them a gift card but wanted to present it in something unique. I designed this staying in sync with their wedding and America's national colors. Getting out my trusty compass, I designed this pop-up ball. I had thought about using a tin to house the ball and gift card but again wanted something a little more different. I took the tin and designed the holder from it. Being engineers, they loved the whole package! :-)

Stamps: To Have and To Hold (#115098)
Cardstock: Bashful Blue and Cutie Pie (a retired DU Designer Paper)
Other Items: StazOn Black Ink, SU Markers, Pretties Kit

Now the cool part is SU will be coming out April 1st with the Sizzix Big Shot 3D Pop-Up Ball! I can make more of these without the frustration from the last one. How cool is that????

Easter is Coming

Springtime is one of my favorite seasons. After a long, dark cold winter how can one not be excited? A couple of weeks ago, I told several friends that nothing could upset me on this given day as I had been out in my yard and noticed flowers were starting to show their beginning growth. A sure sign that sun and warmth were on their way. But it is more than that ... the snows of winter have cleansed the earth and now it is time for rebirth. Have you ever noticed the greatest growth spurt of all living entities is in the spring? It all happens right after Easter, when Christ arose from his grave. Certainly a time for some profound thoughts.

I have been having fun with this sweet set from Stampin' Up! called A Good Egg (#114974).

This is part of a Class to Go package I have available for sale. The cost is $25.00 or $15.00 with the purchase of A Good Egg set through me. Please email me if you would like to purchase this exclusive package through me.

Another item I made using this set is quite fun. I bought the pattern from Inking Idaho. She is a very talented demonstrator! I am making three of these boxes for my grandchildren for Easter. Each one will have their own box and colors. This will be my Easter baskets to them as it is easier to mail a box than a basket.
This is just so sweet! The eggs have Cadbury Chocolate Eggs and Brach's Jelly Beans. I made the clear box and filled it with little chocolate chicks.

Both designs use the Tea Party Designer Paper (#113992) and 12x12 Soft Subtles (#106525)cardstock.

Winter is in Full Force

We had a "wonderful" (I am using the term loosely) ice storm last night. Nothing was safe from the ice ... I decided to venture out and do some errands before I got bogged down in a couple of client's paperwork. After driving 3 blocks and seeing 2 cars almost collide while attempting Stop Signs, I turned around and came home. Errands can wait another day!

As some of you know, I am very involved with rescuing small dogs. In order for my rescue to do this, I make sale items to raise funds for their vetting. With it being so cold everywhere, I decided to make some Snowman Soup containers. This is one design I finished ~

The stamps are from FireCracker Designs by Pamela ~ love their stamps! Paper is from a sale bundle that I bought a year ago from WalMart. The container I bought from a local supplier.
